I don't know if you're kidding or serious about the Xanax...but that's just a whole other level of Hell if you get started on those.

I got sober from alcohol after I had gotten off all my other meds, and there were several for anxiety, depression, migraines and blood pressure.

I won't go back on benzos ever. I feel they helped lead me back to alcohol after nearly two decades of sobriety. Too similar in feel and too easy to take it because, "If I take this I feel better." Short leap to, "If I drink this I'll feel even better."

All of this discomfort will pass if you continue to stay sober and keep working at whatever other physical or psychological issues you have.

Six months was a big turning point for me, so was about 8-9 months. Keep going.
