Snuf- I get that...the dreams and screaming- after I was babbling onto my counselor- a psychologist in the recovery program I did, she asked very specific ?'s....turns out I have c-PTSD ('C' for complex- lots of PTSD from lots of places).
Not implying you have it- but it souunds similar to me.
