Love, when I was diagnosed with bone cancer, years ago, I did that too....I think one of the things you realise is that you are fallible...and in case anything happens, well, you want your affairs in order. It's one of the grown-up parts of life that are so not fun that a lot of us don't do it until we get a fright...
Maybe you could talk to your mum...tell her how afraid you are....it might help to talk about it more if you can love.
