Morning Kenton. Good to hear from you, I am so glad it all went well and your weren't tempted. In my opinion your friends behaved badly, that really wasn't fair. If they were just staying at yours for meetings/business etc in London then fine to meet up with old friends, but when they are the Godparents it is not nice at all.
