My advice is go to AA meetings. I know its scary or whatever. But there are people there who want to help and will. When they ask if there are any newcomers please speak up. Tell them about your 5 days, I guarantee you someone will, probably several people will talk with you.
I credit AA and my HP with getting me to 6 months-plus! I came here in march 2013 and didn't get it. Struggled for another 5 years..... I wish I had had the willingness to believe back then.
As it is I had to go through what I went through to get me here. Today I am divorced and living at my moms...... and loving it! LOL I'm getting back on my feet and will have my own spot someday, I have a great job.
Things keep getting better in AA, do you think I'd keep going back if it didn't get better!? Trust me try it don't wait until alcohol takes your family...... thank you
