I'm sorry for the diagnosis Goose but medical science these days is better than ever before.
May it be one thats easily treatable.
As you know drinking can only offer, at best, a paltry respite from news like this,
At worst it will make things worse.
Several SR members have dealt with a spouses cancer recently, I hope you'll reach out to them and they to you.
