Looking back
Been flirting with sobriety for years. I had avoided looking back on old posts I had made here as it made me feel uncomfortable, embarrassed that years later and I still was repeating the same insane patterns.
I looked back today though and read some of my old posts. It helped remind me why I'm here, that if I don't get my **** together now I will likely be back here in a cpl years crying the same song.
I don't feel embarrassed like I have before, I feel stronger in my resolve.
I'm not wanting to continue this cycle ..it's exhausting!
Cravings are cravings and I won't always feel strength, but I will try and look back and remind myself why I'm here and why I can't continue the insanity.
