Not only have i used it for alcohol but

If, it isn't in the house, you/I/we wont
eat/drink or use it.

Congrats on moving forward one
day at a time.
I think that's great advice, Sharon, but sadly it isn't going to work in my house. Not only is there an abundance of my husband's beer, but also he has a huge sweet tooth - cookies, candy, crackers, cereal, etc. When I was first diagnosed as a prediabetic 7 years ago, he was really good and wouldn't even buy carb laden stuff. Now, he's had enough of any personal sacrifice and given up on that. I am managing with the beer there. I have to get stronger with the other stuff. I do great during the day now, and only eat that stuff after I've already gone to bed. I don't just eat little bits - I eat tons of it.
It's becoming a big problem for me. Thanks for the advice. I agree. Maybe he'll reconsider his sweets until I get a handle on this. The beer is not an option for him.
