Could you join a club, do some volunteer work for charity, take up bird watching , go to church if you are or aren’t religious they always have events and are very friendly.
There are lots of things for us in recovery to do it’s just making a start that is sometimes the difficult part.
My labourer left me before Xmas which left me very lonely at work.
Not healthy spending all that time alone.
He’s back now and my mood has lifted at work.
