My wife pointed out something to me yesterday. A year ago in March we visted her cousin in Ohau and our two families became closer. Turns out that visit helped with the recent passing of our Uncle. My wifes cousin, being the only child and her mother passing 8 years prior, needed someone here to lean on. And that was us. It's funny how things work out. I've had several similar experiences since sobering up.
