I know what you’re going through. My cat had the same problem and he left this world a few months ago.
I couldn’t understand how upset I was, like you say, more so than a human. But our cats are our best friends, they show no impatience or malice with us. They love us and we love them back.
We gave them the best lives they could wish for and they gave us they love and affection.❤️
