I am not unhappy at all and always find things to do..........taking my son to London sightseeing the other week is a good example.......so staying at home isn't an issue.....just saying that social events with lots of people drinking would be something I would want to avoid. So day 9 sober and not suffering from much in the way of temptation and I think my self esteem will improve as i stop looking so bloated from the booze........I do read some very sad and worrying stories on here.........so I hope that my ability to stay sober for 9 days after 40 years or drinking is something positive.........
