Day six and feeling pretty good..........no experience of any temptation to drink yet....so I am not feeling that proud as I have not had to test my resolve.....so my concern is when will the cravings 'kick in'........? I was sad to read many of the posts here where members have relapsed, the disappointment and self loathing,...so hard when the habits are deeply ingrained ........I have failed in the past but never got the support of a place like this..........by the way I was drinking some alcohol even at 7 or 8......now 52..........many of my close friends from the teenage years are now dead from drinking.......anyway......guess I am rambling now but at least it is a sober ramble..........good luck to everyone on here trying to stay sober today.
