Altho my drug of choice was always alcohol,
and I never went to an NA meeting, I fully
appreciate that AA and NA's 12 steps program
parallel each other in many ways.
I am grateful for any and all recovery
programs available to us who are and
have battled addiction in our lives.
In having a program consisting of steps
and principles as a guideline to follow
and incorporate in all our affairs, allows
each of us to achieve what we all want
most in life. To be free of our addiction
to live a healthy, happy, honest way of
life one day at a time.
