Now quietsins, you know that I'm a sucker for a challenge!!!!! LOL

I hate that I hold onto old wounds.

I love...
1) that I can still feel loved from those that care about me
2) that I'm the one that keeps things lightened up with my humor at work when it's needed as a stress buster
3) that I have a touch that many claim to be comforting/healing
4) that I can raise one eyebrow in such a way that it grabs people's attention! lol
5) that I can finally bring myself to ask people for help when I need it
6) that I'm more in touch with my own feelings than I've ever been
7) that I seek understanding of things
8) that I'm getting better about not having so many angry outbursts
9) that my hair (which is thick & curly) and always so hard to manage is now one of my favorite things about myself as far as appearance goes
10) that I'm finally doing things for myself that make me happy (work in progress but doing so much better)

I hate that I can't make any major decisions that concern my personal life.

I love...
1) that I have great friends that bring out the best in me
2) that I don't take everything so seriously anymore
3) that I don't hate people
4) that I'm still seeking a Higher Power
5) that I feel better today than I did a few years ago and hope to continue on that path
6) that I've come to be more sharing with my feelings than I was - learning to express myself in a much better way
7) that I'm more positive than I used to be
8) that I am able to enjoy the beautiful things around me (such as nature)
9) that I am getting to know myself better and hope to continue doing so
10) that I like myself better than I used too.

Ya know - I have a lot of things that I dislike about myself. Definately need to keep working on this list if I want to post all the negatives.
I like this idea though quietsins. It's interesting. To want to name the bad things just makes us look further within to find the good. Too often times we forget the good or just overlook it.
It's a great practice in being more positive.
Thanks for posting this.
