Not good here. My mother has been off her cancer meds for a month now. She had hip surgery yesterday, and although it went ok, the cancer had relapsed, and she has to recover. Spleen is very enlarged, and it hit me this morning that this is a very dire situation. She doesn’t look good. Surgeon was very concerned. I was in such a daze yesterday, but now I realize what we are facing. I hope that there is hope for her. Very tough morning.
