dog attack at liquor store
Had a very strange experience. So I was driving home from work and the liquor store where I usually stop is approaching. I've been driving past pretty strong for the last week or so, staying away, playing the tape forward, focusing on my goals. But tonight I was not feeling as strong. I pulled into the parking lot. But there was a guy whose car had broken down and he was trying to push it into a parking place. He was struggling, so I jumped out to help him. His dog saw me and leaped out and started biting my legs. Hurt like heck. Actually drew blood in a few places. Needless to say, I jumped back quickly and got back into my car. I drove away. Now I'm home. Crazy close call. Don't have to be a genius to read into the symbolism of that dog.
I guess I need to really look at why I pulled into the parking lot in the first place. That dog might not be there next time.
