Double check-in today. Very tired, and off work so rest is my plan. Feeling out of sorts emotionally, so HALT with no guilt. Wanted cigarettes but talked myself out of it. I’m not a regular smoker, just when I am feeling very low or stressed. Don’t want to cope that way. It’s strange—when I need rest or food or company the go-to is something toxic. And a voice inside says: ‘at least you’re not drinking, why not smoke?’ Nah. I came here instead.
So 24 and a late lunch.
