Very cool.
I found a lot of acceptance, understanding, and people who'd been thru the same things I had (and worse) who could talk about it and laugh in the rooms of AA. At the time I didn't even want to acknowledge some of those things to myself, let alone talk openly to a group of people and admit them. Laughing about them? Could never see that in my future.
Now I can, but it takes time.
