My new resolve has come from months of hard work and research, also from the knowledge I have gained from counselors, books etc. I have got to a mindset point where I do not WANT to drink, so stopping is not depriving me of anything at all. Alcohol is a liar, it is a killer who pretends to be your only friend. The past few bottles I had, I literally forced myself to drink while recording myself. The results were amazing, a fat bloated, drunk mess. That's NOT who I am. I have woken up for several weeks with no craving to drink, but followed the habit while changing my mindset about it (I don't want this , I don't need this, this is poison) We all have the ability to brainwash ourselves in a positive way, it takes time, but it eventually sinks in.
