The hobby for me that went to the wayside during my drinking days was cooking, nothing better now on my weekends then going out with a shopping list and then back to my kitchen for a few hours of trying out something new and experimenting with new recipes.
My new hobby though is I've gotten immersed in the world of tea drinking, white, green, black, there are so many flavours out there from all over the world, and I've started a collection of various tea pots, tea leaf strainers and tea cozys . . . nothing better than kicking back in the evening and savouring a new flavour, or when I go somewhere spending time in a tea shop looking at all the gadgets and different flavours!!
