Sounds like you are making some great connections and moving in the right direction. Personal relationships became much more important to me after I quit, and I shied away from them while I was drinking - mainly to avoid conflict and/or my responsibilities. It's not easy but it's a super important part of recovery IMHO, glad to see you making those connections.
