As I stated in my OP, Britain has lowered the safe limit from 2 to 1 drinks per day for men, because of the cancer risk. That's is very low consumption. The safe limit for women is 1 and she was exceeding that every day. I'm not saying it is directly the cause of her cancer, but it is certainly a possibility.
