Hello,
Figured I would post a newcomer post. I am currently sober for 12 days and counting; after going for 21 days from July 4th until the 25--seemed symbolic to be my independence day.
A job I had been shooting for, that I had spent a considerable amount of time doing a programming challenge for fell through, so I found solace in the bottom of a bottle yet again.
It was the longest I had been sober for years and years, which is only topped by the 90 days I spent in jail for my second DUI, 13 years ago.
I've lost everything in my life time and time again, only to recover and start getting ahead again, to find myself self-destruct most fantastic.
This time around I lost job, by way of not having my contract renewed, almost 6 months ago.
Anyways I am committed to turning this thing around.
