As a few others have alluded to, depending on how much you were drinking, please be cognizant of the potential for withdrawal if you quit cold turkey after a prolonged period of drinking. It doesn't just feel terrible, it can be dangerous. It may be worth it to consult with a medical doctor before quitting altogether. Best of luck to you.
