When things were really bad I actually went to a psychiatrist for a short time. However, my current counselor is a Christian based counselor and I am so glad. Keep in mind, he still has the same education if he were not Christian, and that would be important. There are a lot of Christian people who deem themselves qualified to be counselors without the education.
