Today is my mother's birthday and I know there's a party going on in Heaven
Two years ago I drowned my grief in alcohol. Last year I was in very early sobriety and struggled through the day. Today I celebrate her life, her birth day and I thank God for her strength and for holding our family together while my father struggled with alcoholism.
Life is better Sober.
