I do know how difficult it can be to even partially care for aging parents. Like Dee, now I look back and treasure the times I had with them. At the time, though, I resented it. All normal but definitely one of the hardest things to live through.

Babs, all kinds of relationships change when we stay sober. I still think that my worst day sober is better than my best day drunk. It's such an empowering feeling to wake up in the morning with no regrets about the night before!
