Hi 23...your 1st priority has to be your child. I'll give you some practical advice.
To keep your child your husband has to go to a detox/rehab facility. He has to get clean so he can take care of the baby and you in the months to come. 2nd you have to do the same thing once your husband can be trusted to care for your child. You don't want your child taken from you, I don't think. The good news is that withdrawal from pills like vicoden, lortab etc. is much easier that detox from heroin or coke. Or most street drugs.
Share your concerns with your doctor. He'll only be interested in your and your childs welfare. He can help get you and your husband in programs that will get you clean and sober and at the same time safeguard your child.
The worst part of withdrawal is the depression. You've been taking depressents for some time so it's something you can expect. You can beat this. With the help of your doctor, maybe AA, other resources, you and your husband can do this. Bon chance.
