Please tell me How To Detox off Opiates
I am trying to detox off Oxycontin. I will start in a few days. I will not go AA and I will not go to my doctor. So, I have about 30 Lortabs. My plan is to take 3 Lortabs in the morning for a few days, then 2 and then 1 and then 1/2 and so on. Is this a reasonable way to get off opiates or do I need more time. I have been treated with Oxycontin and Lortabs for about 2 years. I am trying to avoid the detox which causes me to throw up and I am very sleepy and unmotivated. Is there anything that can help those things? Please everyone who has had experience, respond. I am not going to go to outside help or advice from my doctor. I just want to do this on my own!
