Bear in mind, that although the Beast itself is just the urge/drive/desire to drink, and has no mental facilities, through the AV it will use all of yours to get you to deliver what IT is driving for IT needs alcohol to survive (remember there is no division between "you and "IT" from ITs perspective). You KNOW you don't need it to survive, you KNOW it will destroy you and kill you ... IT can't just "think" IT needs it, ITs an urge IT can't think..IT just feels need (for something that is vital for survival in ITs reality) and is driven to have that need satisfied,or it means death
And so IT only cherry picks what IT wants you to acknowledge where alcohol is concerned, with the intention of getting you to deliver the goods.
