Yeah, I can relate. I used to continue to drink when I was sick and it would numb the pain or so I thought. In reality you have a sick drunk with a hangover. Just don't start downing the heavy, multi-symptom cold medicine like I was doing...all with a vodka chaser. God, it's good to be sober!
