So there is an outdoors after all. And I assume a "jungle" that goes with it.Now the problem becomes should Willow be brought up as an indoor cat to keep her from running away and getting lost. A very good friend of ours has two cats who are very happy indeed as indoor cats. It would not occur to them to go outside. On the other hand, when we lived in Brooklyn Heights we let the Monster run free in the back yard and he cased the neighborhood and never got lost. We would sit outside in the summer and across the way there was another apartment building with a a man sitting in the window. He wore nothing on, at least above his waist so considering that the rest of him was concealed beneath the window sill, he became known as "the naked man". Our flat was in the basement of a house which was said to have been owned by the famous clergyman, Henry Ward Beecher, who was notorious as a result of a scandalous affair he is alleged to have had with a lady parishioner. We often wondered whether the affair took place in what became our parlor, which had no windows. Like you we had a "very small TV". Adjoining the parlor was a small kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom. The Monster, as I have said, dragged a rib roast off the table and took it into the bedroom to his cave like place under the bed. Guard yourself carefully that Willow does not have this as a hidden agenda!

Geezer (oh the memories!)
