Thanks Dee.

I've read many posts by you where you stress the importance of having a plans now that I've made the decision myself I really see the wisdom of this.

The plan I will try will be to practice mindfulness (often called urge-surfing in the context of addiction) and try to allow any cravings or obsessive thoughts about alcohol to just come and go without me trying to block them or get carried off by them. And also to regularly read this forum. I think this will work for me if I do it, but of course I will have to regard it as something I must absolutely do whatever else is happening in my life.
