Three years ago I didn't know how to live right. I'm grateful that I figured out how to open my mind and heart to recovery.
I found solace and fellowship here on SR, and in AA I found a new way to live. For me not drinking wasnt enough but I was skeptical walking into AA the first time. Actually for the first 6 months. Keeping an open mind was key. I listened, I tried it, I kept going until it made sense. The Promises that Carlos posted sum up my results perfectly.
