Hi, My name is David and I am an Alcoholic and an Addict.
This is the first time I have looked into online recovery. 86 days clean and sober today. I have today, and that is what counts. 1st introduced to 12 step recovery in late 1987, went out 32 days later for another 7 years. April 1994, found the rooms again and came out of the closet. Put 17 years together, but stopped going to meetings since I was "cured" and I could do just one hit of Crystal Meth. Yea Right!
That's my story in a quick summation.
Today, I am really learning about "willing to go to any length" from my sponsor. Always thought I was, but usually found ways around doing what was suggested.
