Good work on one year sober that is a really big deal. Everyone's recovery is different. I quit drinking in December 2015.
The rough patches for me came in. increments of 3's. 3 weeks in started questioning my sanity. Leveled out. Then at 3 months had another meltdown. At 6 months in started to feel confidence and an overall feeling of well being. At 9 months, started to get a little shaky again. At the 1 year mark started feeling really good and looking at not drinking as a tremendous freedom and a great burden had been lifted off of me. Also realized that the healing can't be forced and to be patient, things have a way of working themselves out and all I need to do is be greatfull for all my blessings and get up each day and do the best that I can. It takes dedication for sure but there is nothing better than inner peace that comes from being sober.
