I can hardly believe it is two years, the time has gone so fast

I must give SR a lot of the credit, I was unsure about AA and ended up not using them which was probably a mistake.

By default SR became my AA meetings which I found incredibly helpful. Regretably, to a certain extent I take waking up hangover free for granted but I find in reading newcomers posts the rawness that reminds me why I quit so I am still very grateful to be posting here

My own personal little tip for people who have stopped or who are thinking of stopping is, as soon as a thought of drinking or craving comes into your head then think of something else immediately, that way it does not have a chance to establish themselves. Distractions are really vital for this. I remember PurpleKnight saying he played a lot of online Scrabble well I played a lot of online Sudoku.
