9:42 in California and thinking about surgery tomorrow has me wide awake!! Hopefully all goes well and I can get my left knee moving pain free quickly, and then in a few months schedule the right knee.

My surgery is at 2:45 tomorrow, checking into the hospital at 12:45. No food after midnight, I think it is karma getting even with me for too many Christmas cookies last week! Somehow I lost the two pounds that I have gained since Thanksgiving, hoping to keep at a break even until January! I thought my BMI had to be in normal weight range for the surgery, so I worked hard to get it under 25, then in the class they said it needed to be under 40! However, I am sure it will be easier to recover being in better shape.

If any of you have had knee replacement surgery and have some words of wisdom or tips to getting back to normal activity please share. Also, if you have had both knees done, how long did you wait in between?

Okay, enough babbling from me.

Congrats to all of our Milestoners!!

Have a great night!

Hope everyone is doing well.
