Well done, Matronymic! That is a great achievement, changing your story like that. You can take part in your traditions and you can do it sober. In fact, when you think about it, you can do all of those things, and many more too, when you don't drink anymore. You can remember everything that happens when you don't drink anymore. You can be measured, respectful, considerate all the time when you don't drink anymore. You can wake up refreshed after a celebration, ready to start a brand new day, instead of deathly hungover, when you don't drink anymore. You can be proud of yourself and who you are when you don't drink anymore. There is a very long list of things you can do ONLY IF you don't drink anymore.

Sure, it's will be a challenge to make different choices. So what. You can do challenges. It will be hard. So what. You can do hard. Nothing can keep you from living a life with the good stuff in it. You can do this.

Keep posting, OK? Good to see you here.
