I've spent a few Christmas days alone, because I couldn't face my family as a result of my drinking. But not this year. This year I will be with my family, physically and emotionally present and clear headed. Might it be stresfull? Yes. Slightly. But nowhere near as stresfull as those christmasses I spent on my own.
