ODAAT Eagles Joe Walsh
I am in day 11 of recovery from a 17 year opiate addiction. Besides losing my kids and family this is one of the hardest things I have done. If I can't stay clean this time then I am going to lose my fiance who is one of the best things to happen to me. I can't imagine where my life would be without him .... Yeah I do I would most certainly be dead ... Just another statistic.
I wanted to share a song that has helped me stay clean, given me strength, and hope over these past very looooonggg 11days and I hope it does the same for others. Music is medicine to my soul. Keep your head up, keep faith, we can beat this addiction one day at a time, however for me I still have to take it minute by minute. Good luck in your journey to this thing we call life.
