Thanks August. NA beer definitely won't be something I keep around on a regular basis. Thankfully I wasn't triggered, and was able to (for the most part) enjoy the time with my family.
The first thing I did when I came home yesterday was head to my local AA meeting. The speaker was great and I love how I can always take away some aspect of their story. Tonight I'll be heading to a discussion meeting, to get back into the meat & potatoes of the program.
I've had some dark days these past few weeks, but I have a feelings the worst ones are behind me. I honestly don't have to stress about anything serious at the moment - the relationship that had been a constant source of anxiety and stress is behind me.
