Nice work on all your sober time. It's great to see you here. I'm glad you stopped by.
I'm disappointed in the election results. I stayed up late to watch the votes come in and the morning after I left for work in a tired, stunned fog.
I'm grateful that I am not drinking over my disappointment. I'm grateful I was sober and able to go to work the next morning. I'm grateful I'm not reacting to conservative female friends' and acquaintences' social media comments. I'm also glad the results are not holding my mood down. I've "let it go" enough to get out of my own way and get on with my day and do the next right thing - maybe take more political action???
