Today I can celebrate the Cubs going to the World Series instead of drinking my sorrows over the Dodgers loss. It was the Cubs after all that started my family legacy of loving baseball through my grandfather who was two years old the last time his Cubs won the World Series.
As a teen he moved out to California and didn't have a team until the Dodgers moved here in the 50s. Ever since then Vin has been a family member to three generations of our family.
I love the fact now I see the glass half full instead of half empty as alcohol made my whole world so depressing.
