I just broke a mirror! A medium-large, decorative mirror that I hadn't made a decision about where to hang, so it was just leaning against my sofa. I walked past and brushed it enough that it fell forward with a BANG. I lifted it slowly, hoping against hope that it hadn't broken.
When I saw that it had, about the first thought that crossed my mind was, "I haven't even had any alcohol!" It was a positive thought -- "At least I didn't break this mirror because I was sloppy drunk."
A mirror is easy to replace. A life? Not so much.
And I'm not too worried about those seven years' bad luck because I have a few hundred good-luck charms in my peeps here at SR.
I hope everyone is STAYING STRONG as Saturday night approaches here on the U.S. east coast. You are worth being strong for! Thanks for being here.
