What comes after vice-shotgun? Assistant to the vice-shotgun?

Great post. There's some discussion about 'where we would have ended up' if we hadn't started drinking/drank less/would still be drinking. Okay, no one really discusses the latter. Drinking is a persistent problem, so it's difficult to notice the gifts. But once you sober up - you realise that after the fog clears away, you're left with very specific and excellent 'problem solving skills'. But the trick is to stay sober long enough to realise this.

I'm a big worrier, always have been. Even though I tell myself that worrying is a waste of my fantasy, I still can't seem to shake it. Or, at least I thought I didn't. Even though in very early recovery, I feel a lot calmer. Seems that sobriety works especially well as a remedy against 'sweating the small stuff'.

Great topic for a weekender!
