Obo- Welcome back. I get crippling depression. I've been down that road many a times. Early on 2.5 years ago, I thought meds would cure all my woes. They can be quite effective for some. For me, my depression is a product of inactivity and previously holding onto things in my past. Through therapy, step work, Buddhism and learning to live a balanced life I've found balance. What used to eat me up inside has galvanized my recovery and present state. I often listen to this song, because it sums up my recovery and really approach to life these days.
Your heart is a muscle the size of your fist,
Keep on loving. Keep on fighting.
And hold on, hold on,
Hold on for your life.
