Don't kick yourself too much. If I had done that I wouldn't have an ass left.
Sometimes it takes a few failures. I know of no one alcoholic, personally, who said "I'm gong to quit" and actually doing it without a few bumps in the road.
It took me many attempts to get sober. Save yourself some misery, and believe me, it only gets worse. For me anyway. And I ended up a daily drinker, and by that I mean all day.
just reached five years nine months sober two days ago. So even the bad cases like me can recover.
A plan is a good idea. Whatever it takes.
For me, it took admitting I was powerless over alcohol. I was addicted.
I took action. Went to AA where I met people similar to me. I came here and found the same.
You can do it. You never have to drink again.
