Yeah Trachy, what Dee said. Regret for things we cannot change is such a negative drain on our emotions, and will throw a cloud over the precious moments you have left. You can't change the past but you can own the present and form the future.
Be grateful that you have this opportunity to make a few more memories together, and be supremely grateful that sobriety allows you it.
